Shock Doctrine and Project 25

Naomi  Kline  was a Canadian  author who wrote on social justice themes. She challenged American behaviour on several fronts.  Shock Doctrine is a chilling book by Kline on the attempts of various governments of South America to change the culture of their country, by an onslaught of Shock. Aided by the United States the plan was to prevent any country displaying ‘Pink’ or Socialist leanings establishing themselves on that continent.

The plan was to train students at the University of Chicago in the financial system of the extreme Capitalist way, as taught by Milton Friedman, the renowned economist. When the time came for the need to change governments a bloody coup was organised by the challenging regime, and brutally, and swiftly assaulted the entire country. It then immediately installed the Chicago-trained economists. The theory was that the assault was so brutal it would  create widespread ‘Shock’ across the country that the people would be paralysed with fear and readily comply. The methods were cruel and numerous, in techniques, such as, ‘disappearing’s’ and killing of citizens, dropping people out of airplanes, or incarcerating people in unknown locations for indefinite periods without trial.  The operative word was ‘Shock’. It was developed on the model of treatment in a psychiatric hospital in Montreal,  Canada, where shock treatment was employed prolifically to change behaviour.

The Heritage committee, an extreme right-wing group of the Republican Party has prepared a 920 -page manifesto to implement following the coming election. It is said to be a bloodless coup. The implication is that if the Republicans do not win there will be ‘blood on the streets’  to quote Trump. The document is designed to take the country back to the nineteenth century on crucial moral issues, particularly women’s rights. It has extreme positions on abortion. It plans to transition the bipartisan staff in the White House to loyalists to Trump and grant Trump extreme executive powers. It has intention of subjugating the legal system to the President and trialling his perceived political enemies. Already he has declared Liz Chaney will be subjected to a military court, and ‘crooked Joe Biden’ to the same.

Trump has denied knowing anything about Project 25. He is known not known to  read any documents or reports so it is certain he has not read this document although it has been reported that he has been told of it and a video has appeared of him speaking at the Project 25 convention with reference to it. It has been declared that this regime change is to ‘shock’ the nation to bring about a complete change in the culture. It is to be a bloodless coup. If the Republicans lose the election, they will implement a programme to dispute the loss  to the n-th degree and if necessary, take the fight to the streets. They will not stand for a loss. Already they have begun the process of minimising the ease with which the Democrats can vote. They will stop at nothing. It seems that the system of ‘Shock’ has been remembered by the Republican party, as it applied to South America,  and in a modified manner chosen to pursue the same outcome. America beware.
